Litomyš is looking forward to seeing you
We are a small historic town, which nevertheless offers plenty of parking space. Most likely you will come to us by the R35 road. The most convenient parking option is the T.G. Masaryk parking lot, which is adjacent to the road and offers plenty of free and free parking spaces. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the square from here.
If for some reason you need to park in the very heart of Litomyšl, try your luck right on Smetana Square. There is a charge for parking here, and especially on weekdays you are not guaranteed to find a free space.
There are also dronier parking areas in the streets surrounding the city centre. In case of access to the Litomyšl Castle or the Piarist Church, you can use the parking on Jirásekova Street. Here, too, parking is charged and is often reserved for weddings during wedding ceremonies.
Chateau Hill offers free parking directly on the grounds of the chateau if you stay directly with us. If you don't need housing and would still like to park in an attractive location, you can rent the courtyard from us.
Do you want to travel to us in an environmentally friendly and low-cost way? Choose to travel by train to Česká Třebová and then a few kilometres by bus. Get off at the Zámecká stop and, as the name suggests, you will find yourself right in the middle of a fairy tale.

Unpaid parking. Usable for: city centre, Castle Hill, castle, city theatre - Smetana's House, polyclinic, main building of the Municipal Office, Primary School U Školek and T.G. Masaryka, Technical School, Gymnasium. The walking route from the parking area is along the pavement to the overpass of the I/35 road by the Secondary School of Horticulture and Technology and past the Smetana House and the Secondary School of Education building to the town centre. The walking time is 8 to 10 minutes. The grounds of the State Chateau can then be reached via the promenade on Jirásekova Street in another 5 minutes.
Parking for the BUS has been cancelled, replaced by parking for the OA. Parking for BUS created in the area of the MOL petrol station (direction Vysoké Mýto) - 2 parking spaces.
