Interactive displays, secret passages, and castle stories for children and adults alike
Step into a labyrinth where the history of Litomyšl Castle turns into a playful adventure. Beautifully illustrated panels, all kinds of interactive features, secret passages, and little challenges await you. Children don’t just have to look—they can turn, slide, search, open, and discover what’s hidden inside. This will let you get to know the castle in a slightly different way: through the stories of courtiers, nobles, artists, and other notable figures associated with Litomyšl.
What’s in store for you?
-
Illustrated game panels with moving parts,
-
secret passages and surprises,
-
the mystery of the five Gs,

-
fascinating facts about Renaissance science and culture,

Where can you find the Labyrinth?
The Labyrinth of Castle History is located in the former stables building in the upper castle courtyard, right behind the fountain.
In the upper courtyard, look for the building with a statue of a groom on the roof. A Litomyšl courtier will welcome you at the door on the left—and from there, the path will lead you straight into the castle’s stories.
Admission
Admission to the Castle History Labyrinth is free.
