In December and January, you can look forward to two great travel shows at the Castle Hill. The first will be a lecture by the well-known mountaineer Radek Jaroš Expedition 2016. You will surely enjoy the images from the Crown of the World and Radek Jarosz's first two expeditions to the highest peaks of all the continents of our planet. The climber will describe the course of the ascent and the dramatic events on Denali, which he summarizes as follows. Alaska at its best. The long 3,500 km bike ride to the base of Europe's highest peak. Twelve countries, roads, rivers, seas, mountains... These are the pitfalls we faced on the expedition before climbing the Caucasian Elbrus."

The next big diashow will take place in the Castle Riding Hall on 24 January 2017 at 7 pm. This time Jiří Kolbaba will visit Litomyšl with his show The Island of Bali - My Second Home. "On the border of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, in the middle of the Indonesian archipelago, 800 km south of the equator, lies the picturesque island of Bali. Three million Hindus present their faith every day with numerous celebrations, parades and prayers. We will visit temples, households, fishing villages, mountains, lakes and surrounding islands. We are going to visit a unique place full of beautiful people with a rich spiritual life, an island that is unparalleled on this planet", invites Jiří Kolbaba to his show.
