Just like last year, this year you can also look forward to the Angel Sundays of Advent on the Castle Hill - an afternoon programme full of music, entertainment and Christmas cheer in front of the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross, which is also the main centre of Advent and Christmas events. From 27 November until 1 January, a large exhibition of nativity scenes will be installed here again. Throughout Advent and the Christmas holidays, it will also be possible to visit an extraordinary artistic intervention in the crypt of the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross in Litomyšl, where the oldest preserved polychrome carving in our territory, the so-called Madonna of Osik, is on display. However, the Madonna bears one unnoticeable injury from the past - it is missing a face. The current exhibition in Litomyšl is driven by the desire to breathe life back into the statue. The architect of the exhibition and the author of the main idea of finding a new face is architect Josef Pleskot.
