Although we are facing a very uncertain season on the hill this year, we are definitely not giving up and are preparing for the visitors we can't wait to see. In line with the release plan announced by the government, we want to keep you informed of what all will be available to do on the hilltop and when.

Hurrah for a view to the church
D-Day should occur on 11 May, when we want to open the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross again . You can look forward to the Angels on the Hilltop exhibit, the children's playroom, and a view between the church towers. More fun for your children
If conditions permit, we would also like to open the children's pavilion in front of the carriage house and the popular maze in the stables on 11 May. Occasionally, depending on the weather and visitor interest, the Carriage House café window will also be open.
Have you been on a tour of the castle hill?
Apparently, guided tours will be available in some form from 25 May. We recommend, for example, a night tour of the Piarist church, during which you will be able to admire, among other things, the laser cross and the pulsating sacrificial table by Václav Cigler and Michal Motyčka. Weddings allowed
Engaged couples who wanted to have their ceremony on the hilltop in June can rejoice in the current situation. Previously, this month was unavailable due to the Smetana Litomyšl festival. However, the date of the festival has changed and those who want to have their wedding on the hill in June now have a unique opportunity. There are still restrictions on holding social events, but hopefully everything will gradually return to normal.
Invite your friends to Litomyšl
From 25 May it should also be possible to stay on the Castle Hill. Last year we opened a UNESCO apartment on the hill, this year we are opening a new room called Za Hubičku in the attic of the brewery. The room is designed as a cheap accommodation suitable especially for families with children with the possibility of sleeping in a sleeping bag. The hotel in the ESC and apartments will also be open. Reservations are possible now.

Finally, I would like to ask all Litomysl residents for help. Every tourist who comes to Litomyšl before the end of the year will help us to make up for the financial loss that many companies, especially in the tourism industry, have suffered. Every organizer of an event will help us even more. Let's help convince the rest of our country that coming to Litomyšl for a trip is worth it and that holding events in the castle grounds is a great choice. After all, the best sales representative is each of us. At the very least, we just need to share the companies' advertisements on Facebook, add links to the website or call the right people. Together, we can make it happen.
